Every Wednesday, local table soccer players gather at a different city bar. The Bars League, organised by Foosin, a local table soccer club, has received a surprising level of interest and is gradually gaining a firm place in the city events’ calendar.

In October, the tournaments took place in such bars as Tappo D'oro, Soul Box, Jamaica and Gringo; in November, the league will continue in bars Route 66, Gluck and Alaus Studija. This is scheduled to continue until Foosin visits all bars, where Foosin has its its football tables, at least once, and there are above 30 of them.

In each tournament, players are welcome without a pair, as the teams are built by drawing lots before the tournament. For those, thinking that table football is gradually losing its popularity in the capital, the number of participants in each league is proving the contrary: since the first tournament, around 25 teams take part every night of the league.

The winners of each tournament will be rewarded by a host bar and event organisers, while first teams out of the tournament will battle for the consolation prize - an invitation to visit Foosin table football club and practice. Each player will collect points individually, and the one with most of the points at the end of each month will win the grand prize - Garlando football table for a weekend.

Each tournament’s locations and the latest news can be found on the Foosin Facebook page.

Only players over 18 year old can attend tournaments.
